how far should projector be from 120 inch screen
That's a great question! In order for a projector to project as large as 120 inches, it needs to be at least 12 feet away from the screen. When you do this, the beam of light is still large enough to fill that distance and produce an image that appears 120 inches across.

In your situation, it would be beneficial to locate the projector on top of something tall such as a bookshelf or coffee table with plenty of clearance (12-18 inches) beneath it. For larger screens we recommend projecting from 14 feet away. Again, this will result in your image appearing at least 120 inches across.
